PicketPilot turns simple connected runs into a material list you can discuss with a supplier or installer.
What it can tell you
The planner estimates counts from the connections and dimensions you enter. It handles shared posts, gates, bays, pickets, rails and optional identical-hole concrete. It separates material quantities from prices and leaves missing costs visibly incomplete.
It does not provide a survey, permit determination, structural design, excavation instructions, contractor quote or purchasing guarantee. National usefulness comes from transparent arithmetic, not an invented national price feed.
What stays in your browser
The worksheet runs in the current tab. It has no application account, contact form, analytics, localStorage persistence or cookie-based feature. Reloading clears the plan. Export a CSV or print before leaving. Downloaded files remain under your control.
A ZIP code and state may be entered for an in-tab coverage check; no street address or property coordinates are requested. No contact details are collected and no requests are sent. Short post labels are only connection identifiers. The application does not submit your measurements or prices to companies. Hosting/access services may process ordinary requests under their own policies, and external company links have their own policies.
How the content is made
Guides and diagrams are original and describe both calculation rules and limits. Primary references are linked on the methodology page. No supplier endorsement, professional certification, guaranteed savings, traffic or revenue is claimed. Paid company participation and outreach are not active.

Privacy and external services
Calculator inputs are processed in memory in this browser tab and are cleared on reload. There is no application analytics, advertising tracker, contact database or automatic transfer of your worksheet. CSV exports and printed copies are under your control. Hosting services may process ordinary connection and request logs. Visiting an external company website is your choice and is subject to that company’s policies.
